This event is free to attend, but as a fundraiser, we kindly suggest inviting guests who may consider donating to help us break down barriers and empower individuals. Your support makes a lasting impact!

The Friends of Independence Breakfast is more than just a gathering. It’s our most important annual fundraiser and a vital source of unrestricted operating revenue for Independent Living, Inc. The funds raised help us bridge gaps in our current funding, expand awareness of our services, and support more individuals with disabilities.

At its core, “We Are the Same Inside” reflects our unwavering commitment to breaking down the physical, attitudinal, and systemic barriers that prevent individuals with disabilities from fully participating in society. No matter our differences, we all share the same desires for dignity, opportunity, and belonging. Access, equality, and inclusion are not just ideals—they are the foundation of the inclusive world we are building together, where everyone is valued for who they are inside.
