About
We are a 100% VOLUNTEER operated not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization recognized by the IRS (EIN: 92-2868725) with a ST.119 Tax Exemption under NYS in support of veteran, current military, and first responder cognitive health.
Our MISSION is to serve our veterans, current servicemembers, and first responders by inspiring and uniting them through a community of compassion, respect, dignity, and accountability. To provide alternative therapies through psycho-education, creative art workshops (i.e. poetry, charcoal drawing, short films), and empowering activities (i.e. yoga, fishing, hikes).
The GOAL is to reduce suicide, homelessness, and incarceration rates in veterans, current servicemembers, and first responders, and to build and/or replenish cognitive abilities and cement a positive social support system.
From the war-torn world to the home we know, we have your 6.
I am a Purple Heart Combat Veteran who founded the not-for-profit, CCLT4Vets, which is named after the sound it makes when an ammo magazine is dropped from a M-16. My call sign when I was laid up at Walter Reed was "Crazy Cat Lady," hence the name.
We are formerly known as Crazy Cat Lady Therapy for Veterans, as we provide more services than we could express in this short missive. We are a 100% VOLUNTEER operated not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization recognized by the IRS (EIN: 92-2868725) with a ST.119 Tax Exemption under NYS in support of veteran, current military, and first responder cognitive health.

We HOPE you will do us a solid and donate today or support us at a local event. Your donations are how we survive. Your donations go 100% back into the programs (i.e. charcoal drawing, poetry workshops, hikes, fishing excursions, etc.) and their management (i.e. insurance to protect patrons, materials needed for events, venue rentals for events, etc.). Again, we are 100% volunteer...
