As a licensed Speech-language pathologist working with children with the diagnoses of autism, emotional difficulties, behavioral disorders, developmental delays and more, I truly enjoy and enjoyed promoting their speech-language growth. I became very interested in root causes of why so many children are struggling developmentally, behaviorally, and cognitively when my daughter struggled from birth. After multiple misdiagnoses (behavioral disorder, developmentally delayed, tourettes, autism spectrum, my daughter was finally diagnosed with autoimmune encephalitis (pans/pandas) at 2 years, 9 months old. Unbeknownst to me, I had Lyme, bartonella, and babesia which passed to my daughter in utero which then snowballed into AE/PANS/PANDAS.

I started Heal On Earth, Child Inc. to raise awareness for a medical condition called Autoimmune Encephalitis (A.E.) in children. A.E. is the broader term for conditions where the immune system attacks brain tissue, causing inflammation and neurological/psychiatric symptoms (OCD, paranoia, selective mutism, anxiety, panic, delusions, rage, and more). For some children, (like my oldest child), A.E. started in utero because my infections reactivated and infected her while I was pregnant. Under the A.E. umbrella is PANS & PANDAS. PANS (pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric syndrome), and PANDAS (pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric syndrome that are affecting many children, especially a subgroup of children who are diagnosed as having autism, behavioral disorders, psychiatric disorders, and developmental delays.

  At Heal On Earth, Child Inc:

1. We want to build awareness that unbeknownst to Mothers infections such as lyme, bartonella, & babesia are passing from Mother to baby in utero.  Many mothers who have a diagnosis of fibromyalgia, MS, or rheumatoid arthritis actually have a stealth infection that is triggering that autoimmune response.

2. We want to reduce the stigma associated with congenital vector borne diseases. Although a marathon, healing is possible ❤. 

3. Working alongside dedicated, PANS/PANDAS/lyme literate doctors, we want to increase emotional support for pregnant mothers because passing infections that had intense effects on my first born harmed my daughter as a baby (PANS/PANDAS/AE) and nearly destroyed me as a human being & a Mother (guilt, anger, frustration, misled by mainstream medical). We have since healed but it was hell. 

4. Through fundraising, we have provided 2 medical scholarships to 2 different children from Orange County, NY so they could receive specialized care from PANS/PANDAS/lyme literate specialists who are aligned with specialized bloodwork which is all self-pay. We will continue to build awareness and to fundraise. 

5. We want to build awareness that accurate bloodwork (igenix, galaxy labs, vibrant labs, mdl labs) is available for vector borne diseases. We want to build awareness that the CDCs bloodwork for vector borne diseases is not accurate and the CDC has zero accountability. So a Mom can test negative on the CDCs bloodwork then pass all infections to her baby. Not cool and not fair to a developing fetus/baby.

6. As human beings we are all connected. We are all being bitten by the same mosquitos and ticks, too.

7. As a licensed speech-language pathologist, the struggles associated with PANS/PANDAS/AE were very similar to what many of my previous special education students (autism and emotional difficulties) went through. Each and every child is special and all children deserve to have bio individualized care. 

8. I made a promise to God and the universe that once my daughter and I got well I would help others and share what we have learned. ❤.
