Take Flight Aviation is a nationally recognized flight training and aircraft maintenance organization based at Orange County Airport in Montgomery, New York. As a Diamond Aircraft Factory-Authorized Training and Service Center, we offer comprehensive services for both aspiring professional pilots and private aircraft owners alike.

Our flight school provides FAA Part 141 and Part 61 training programs for students at every stage—from first-time flyers pursuing their Private Pilot License to advanced pilots earning Instrument, Commercial, Multi-Engine, and Instructor certifications. Whether training for a career in aviation or simply flying for personal enjoyment, Take Flight Aviation combines modern Diamond aircraft, experienced instructors, and a structured, safety-focused curriculum to deliver exceptional results.

We’re also proud to support our local community through partnerships with area high schools and BOCES programs, helping over 80 students each year discover aviation as a career or lifelong passion—right here in the Hudson Valley.

Our in-house maintenance division provides expert service, inspections, and factory-approved warranty support for both our fleet and privately owned aircraft, ensuring the highest standards of reliability and care.
