Administration & Records Management Intern

The New York State Bridge Authority (NYSBA) is offering a 12-week, full-time, paid Summer Internship Program in Highland, NY designed for motivated individuals interested in exploring careers in public transportation and infrastructure.


Join our team as an Administrative & Records Management Intern and gain valuable experience supporting the day-to-day operations of a critical public infrastructure organization. This hands-on internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our administrative team to organize, manage, and streamline important records and documentation related to bridge operations and toll collection.


Pay Rate and Hours:

  • $20 per hour
  • 40 hours per week (weekends off)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support records retention efforts by reviewing, documenting, and preparing reports on existing files for administrative review and disposal
  • Help coordinate administrative workflows and document management processes
  • Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, scheduling support, and communication coordination

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with both physical and digital records
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred
