Position: Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant

Part Time, Monday through Friday, 9:00am-12:00 noon

Additional/Flexible hours if needed.

Hourly Rate:  $19.00Hourly Rate of Pay

Benefits:  Paid Holidays, 5 paid vacation days, 3 personal business days and 2 sick days

Reports to: Executive Director

Experience: Must have experience with Quickbooks, Excel, Word, Payroll and 2 years of general bookkeeping experience.

Job Responsibilities:

· Provide all bank statements to designated Board Members and file 2x a month;

· Send birthday cards to volunteers and staff;

· Make bank deposit on Friday;

· Update Excel Spreadsheet in Operating Account Income and Receivables and provide 4 copies to designated Board Members and Executive Director;

· Contact clients regarding past due status;

· EFTPS 941-Make payment, Complete tax form 941, Federal Tax Deposit, provide Social Security amount, Medicare info and withholding and submit. Print a copy for file and one for Treasurer;

· Fidelis, Elderplan, Evercare, Hamaspik Billing;

· QuickBooks Billing, print invoices and sort;

· Self-Pay-provide invoices and check against balance;

· Create labels for the delivery bags;

· New Client in-take, determine location, allergies, cost;

· Gather information from the application for Home Delivered Meals;

· NYS-45 online reporting of employment and withholding tax;

· Complete payroll records and create and distribute a check for each paid employee;

· Answer office phones and assist the caller;

· Pay the rent first of every month;

· Verify/Comply for all Board Members, staff and new volunteers;

· Any other tasks that are assigned.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
