Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Psychotherapy "R" Privilege (LCSW-R)
This position can be full or part time. This position is flexible in terms of hours based on the needs of the recipients. This position pays $55.00 per hour.
Position Summary:
The LCSW-R is responsible for providing advanced clinical social work services, including psychotherapy, to individuals, families, and groups. The role involves comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions. The LCSW-R may work in various settings, including private practice, healthcare facilities, community agencies, and educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis:
Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to determine client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Diagnose mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders using DSM-5 criteria.
Psychotherapy:
Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and other relevant modalities.
Case Management:
Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other specialists.
Assist clients in accessing community resources and support services.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
Professional Development:
Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education to maintain licensure and stay current with best practices.
Attend supervision and case consultation meetings as required.
Ethical Practice:
Adhere to the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics and other relevant professional standards.
Always maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Qualifications:
Education: Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Valid LCSW-R licensure in the state of practice.
Insurance: Malpractice insurance proof upon hire
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of post-master's clinical experience, including supervised hours for the "R" privilege.
Skills: Strong assessment and diagnostic skills, proficiency in various therapeutic modalities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to manage a diverse caseload.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a specific area of practice, such as trauma, substance abuse, and working with the aging population.
Provider on several insurance panels
Medicare provider
Bilingual in Spanish
Work Environment:
The LCSW-R may work in a variety of settings, including in-office for individual face-to-face therapy, utilizing telehealth option from any location deemed agreeable to both therapist and recipient, and providing group therapy in the community.
