J&G Law, LLP, a highly respected multi-service law firm located in Orange County, NY, is seeking to expand our Litigation Team by adding an Associate Attorney.

Candidates should have 3+ years’ litigation experience, ability to handle and manage litigation cases, including discovery, arbitration, mediation, motion practice, client coordination, briefs and court appearances, along with ability to manage a file from start to finish. Effective communication skills are also necessary as this position will involve heavy direct client contact. Great opportunity for long term growth and development.

Qualifications:

• Minimum three (3) years of litigation practice experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and advocacy skills.
• Ability to build rapport with clients by maintaining excellent attorney client relations.
• Be able to work in a collaborative atmosphere.
• Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school with a current license to practice in New York State.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and PerfectLaw preferred.
• Must be able to work onsite at our Walden, NY office.
