J&G Law, LLP, a highly respected multi-service law firm located in Orange County, NY, is excited to announce an immediate opening for an Associate Attorney to join our dynamic Land Use/Municipal team. As an integral member of our team, you will work closely with experienced practitioners and be given the opportunity to grow your career in a collegial and supportive environment.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled attorney with a passion for land use and municipal law. The successful candidate will handle a diverse mix of matters, including representation at Town/Village boards, planning boards, zoning board of appeals, and other governmental entities. To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school with a current license to practice in New York State.
• Two (2) - five (5) years of experience practicing law with a focus on land use and municipal law.
• Experience attending and presenting at municipal or administrative hearings on land use issues and knowledge of SEQR.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, professional practice.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and PerfectLaw preferred.
• Must be able to work onsite at our Walden, NY office.
• Attend night meetings.
