Job Description:

Somni Tapas Restaurant is seeking passionate and dedicated part-time servers to join our team. As a server, you truly care about providing a memorable and hospitable experience for our guests. You are welcoming and accommodating, with the ability to educate our patrons and guide their experience, creating lasting memories. You have a desire to expand your knowledge of our offerings and enjoy being creative with your recommendations, using suggestive selling where appropriate. You work quickly, love being part of a team, and are capable of solving problems in stride.

Responsibilities:

• Present the menu and answer questions
• Take orders and make thoughtful recommendations
• Manage tables, ensuring cleanliness and order
• Issue bills and accept payments
• Address complaints or problems with a positive attitude

Qualifications:

• Minimum Age Requirements: (18 yrs of age or older) Must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcohol, as determined by state laws.
• Customer Service Skills: Must possess strong customer service skills, as this is a customer-facing role.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand for long periods and lift trays of food, racks of cups, and other objects as required by the job.
• Critical Thinking and Time Management: Must excel at working under pressure, particularly during busy periods, and be able to assist with quality assurance in the kitchen while keeping guests happy.

Pay Rate: $10.00/hour plus Tips
