Based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie became a worldwide phenomenon and won seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Featuring a beloved book and score by Tony Award winners Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse, and Martin Charnin, the show includes some of musical theatre’s most recognizable songs, including “Tomorrow,” “It’s the Hard Knock Life,” “Maybe,” “Little Girls,” and “Easy Street.” Set in 1930s New York City, Annie follows a spirited young orphan whose optimism remains unshaken despite a difficult start. Determined to find the parents who left her at an orphanage run by the unforgettable Miss Hannigan, Annie sets off on an adventure that ultimately leads her to billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his secretary Grace Farrell, and, of course, a lovable dog named Sandy.
