On Sunday, November 1st, Sammie is hosting Mature Makeup Masterclass: Wine & Makeup at Main Street Cutters, and this is so much more than learning how to “put on makeup.” Sammie is one of MSC’s professional makeup artists and the artist our clients trust for everything from everyday beauty to special events and weddings. She has a way of making women look polished, fresh and beautiful while still looking like themselves—and now she’s breaking down those techniques so you can actually recreate them at home. Because great makeup isn't about following every trend. It's about understanding your own face. During this hands-on class, Sammie will teach you how to: 

-Prep your skin so makeup sits beautifully 

-Choose and apply foundation and concealer without looking heavy 

-Place blush, bronzer and contour where they flatter your features 

-Create eye makeup that opens and defines the eyes 

-Blend properly (because this changes EVERYTHING) 

-Use lip techniques that polish the entire look 

-Create a fresh, lifted appearance without trying to look “overdone” 

-Update techniques that may have worked years ago but aren't serving you anymore

 Understand what products and techniques are actually worth your time And most importantly, you'll be doing it yourself. This is a small, hands-on class, so you'll have the opportunity to practice while Sammie teaches, ask questions and get guidance instead of going home trying to remember what you watched someone else do.
