Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County Graduates Its Latest “Crop” of Master Gardener Volunteers
Middletown, NY -- On December 7, 2024, the Master Gardener Volunteer Program of Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County held their annual graduation. Sixteen (16) Master Gardener Volunteer Trainees completed their year-long horticulture training program and joined the ranks of the 90 existing Master Gardener Volunteers.
As Master Gardener Volunteers they assist with gardening projects, teach classes and workshops, work with school and community gardens, provide information at public events, write articles for the Gardening in Orange County Blog, and answer gardening questions through the Garden Helpline (mghelpline@cornell.edu / (845) 343-0660).
CCE Orange County would like to thank and congratulate all the new Master Gardener Volunteer graduates for their dedication, service, and hard work during the past year. We wish them nothing but success and hope they contribute massively to gardening programming in the future!
