 Creative Impact Conference 2024 

The Intersection of Arts and Business  

(NEW WINDSOR, NY) - On Tuesday, May 14, The Orange County NY Arts Council is thrilled to present speakers, panels, networking, and conversations around the ways in which a focus on arts and culture will serve as a key driver in the success of our communities, at the world-renowned Storm King Art Center, a 500-acre outdoor museum in the Hudson Valley. The premier outdoor professional development conference brings together business leaders, cultural organizations, artists and creative entrepreneurs from across the region. This event is presented by the Orange County NY Arts Council in partnership with Orange County Chamber of Commerce and Arts Mid-Hudson. 

We are excited to share the incredible opportunity to hear from our Keynote Speaker, Michael Bruno. Bruno is an entrepreneur and the founder of 1stdibs.com, an online marketplace for antiques, furniture, jewelry, and art. He is also the founder of the home design app Housepad, Tuxedo Hudson Company and Tuxedo Hudson Realty, and Art-Design-Carta. Locally, he developed the Valley Rock Inn and Mountain Club in Sloatsburg.

Additional Featured Presenters include Susan Moller a Product Strategist, Researcher & Designer at Makermoto Labs; John Cimino an Arts Entrepreneur and Corporate Consultant; Kirsten Catellier President at Studio A Landscape Architecture and Engineering; Amy Weisser Strategic Planning and Project at Storm King Art Center; Joseph Minuta Jr. Principal Architect at Minuta Architecture; Gilbert Guaring Global Head of Marketing and Strategic Planning at Urban Arts Projects, Bronwyn Whittle Independent UX/UI Designer, Patricia Walsh Founder at PAW Arts and Melissa Dvozenja-Thomas Executive Director at Arts MidHudson.

Rocky Bagels will be provide bagels and coffee in the morning, a freshly prepared local lunch will be provided, as well as a happy hour with cocktails from Spirits Lab, and live music from local band, Central Perkes from 5-6 p.m.
