Schuster, Esq. a partner concentrating in business and nonprofit law, has been recognized by the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan (CFOS) with its Karen Minogue Award for Distinguished Service. This award was presented to Gary at the CFOS Annual Volunteer & Donor Reception held on February 8, 2024, at the Town of Wallkill Golf Course.

  "Awarded since 2016, the Karen Minogue Award for Distinguished Service honors an individual who has supported the Community Foundation as a volunteer in an exceptional way. Named in honor of past President & CEO, this special award is given at the annual Volunteer & Donor Reception, held in February. Gary’s dedication for nearly 20 years as a trusted advisor, committee member, guest speaker, and overall supporter of CFOS has truly made a difference and has helped bring the organization to new heights. In addition, Gary serves as General Counsel to the Foundation, offering ability to the staff and board leadership as needed " said Elizabeth Rowley, President of the CFOS.
