Military families serve in ways that often go unseen. Blue Star Families is here to make sure they are supported, connected, and never alone no matter where they are. 

We are building corporate fundraising teams for ANY upcoming obstacle course events through our partnership with Spartan Race and Tough Mudder. Visit their sites for race location and information:

The commitment is straightforward: assemble a team of employee athletes, each raising $1,000 to support Blue Star Families programs across the NY Tri-State region. We provide VIP race entry, fundraising tools, event day gear, coaching, and full logistics support — your team just shows up ready to run. 

For companies open to it, we welcome the opportunity to structure a matching arrangement: runners raise $500, and the company matches the remaining $500. This model reduces the individual fundraising burden while doubling the collective impact for military families in the tri-state region. 

Funds raised go directly to work in our region, supporting: 

• Food security initiatives that have distributed more than 160,000 pounds of food to military families in need

• Community connection events that reduce isolation and build belonging — from Month of the Military Child celebrations and Welcome Week events to Military Spouse Appreciation gatherings and year-round programming that honors the full military family 

• Workforce development programs helping service members and military spouses build meaningful careers
